Chief Compliance Officer for Asia - Flywire
Frans manages a team of professionals in the region with responsibility for all matters within compliance. He has headed compliance teams regionally for more than 15 years covering payments, investment banking, corporate banking, private banking and global markets. He started his career with the Singapore government where he was attached to the Inland Revenue Authority as an Intelligence Officer and to the Monetary Authority as an Associate Director within the Securities & Futures Department. Before joining Flywire, Frans had led Moneygram's compliance teams in Asia Pacific, where he was involved in several payments projects and conducted training for payment agents and regulators in the region.
Damian Hitchen
Chief Executive Officer - Swissquote
Damian joined in January 2014 to drive Swissquote’s expansion strategy from being Switzerland’s largest digital banking and trading platform into the Middle East & Asia region. During 2014-2019 he built a successful B2c-B2b office from the DIFC, Dubai with a major focus on the development and upgrade of the Bank existing institutional platform services. In July 2019, he relocated from Dubai to head up Swissquote’s new office in Singapore, which will act as the regional booking centre for its business development in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on professional, industry and institutional clients such as external asset-managers, insurance firms, securities brokerages, family offices and local - regional Banks/Private Banks.
Willie Chang
Chief Operating Officer - Hg Exchange (HGX)
Willie has twenty years of experience spanning fintech, investment banking and management consulting. He most recently built and launched Wowoo Exchange Singapore, where he also served as CEO. Previously, Willie was the Head of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Mizuho Securities in Singapore and also held management positions at Lehman Brothers and Deloitte Consulting. He has an MBA with Honours from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
