The urge to reconnect: 58% of Singaporean professionals living abroad express interests in relocating back home within the next 5 years, up from 49% in 2021. The longing is motivated by the aspiration to reunite with family and loved ones.
Economic realities: The current state of economy influences the decision whether or not to return. Unfavorable work circumstances in Singapore can deter overseas Singaporeans from relocating.
