Senior IAM Engineer (SailPoint IQ, 1-Year Contract)

A leading global organisation is seeking an Identity and Access Management Engineer with expertise in SailPoint IQ to join their Singapore-based team. As an Identity and Access Management Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding access across the organisation’s critical systems using SailPoint IQ.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust identity and access management solutions using SailPoint IQ.
• Develop, review, and enhance site operating procedures related to IAM processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Create and manage change management tickets for IAM-related activities, ensuring timely incident reporting and resolution for all access issues.
• Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs of IAM systems to guarantee high availability and reliability across all platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication and authorisation issues within SailPoint IQ environments, responding promptly to unplanned events with minimal supervision.
• Perform detailed rounds and inspections of IAM infrastructure, proactively detecting anomalies or vulnerabilities during these checks.
• Contribute to the development or improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for site-specific IAM equipment and software.
• Work collaboratively with facility engineering teams to support 24x7 operations by ensuring 100% uptime for all identity services.

What You'll Need

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience administering Sailpoint IdentityIQ platforms is essential for success.
• Certification as an Identity Security Engineer is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated understanding of lifecycle events workflow (Joiner, Mover, Leaver, Rehire) within identity management systems is important.
• Proficiency with directory services such as Active Directory, EntraID, and LDAP is expected.
• Experience with database administration using SQL or MSSQL enhances your suitability for this role.
• Familiarity with technologies including Java, JavaScript, XML supports effective IAM operations.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident management, problem management, change management) is beneficial for operational excellence.
• Strong analytical skills enable you to diagnose issues efficiently while maintaining a pleasant user experience.
• Excellent communication skills are vital for supporting an international user community through collaborative teamwork.
