Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Our client is a leading firm, this role will lead security operations capability covering security monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, threat hunting, vulnerability management and security engineering.

What You'll Do:

• Lead day-to-day cyber defence operations across enterprise and production environments
• Lead and mentor a team of security analysts and incident responders
• Drive incident response activities including investigation, containment, recovery and post-incident reviews
• Oversee digital forensic investigations and root cause analysis activities
• Develop and enhance threat detection use cases, correlation rules and response playbooks
• Lead proactive threat hunting initiatives and integrate threat intelligence into operational processes
• Manage vulnerability management programmes and coordinate remediation activities with stakeholders
• Develop operational procedures, response runbooks and security monitoring standards
• Produce operational metrics, reporting and dashboards for leadership teams
• Conduct security awareness initiatives, tabletop exercises and incident simulations

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience leading Security Operations, Cyber Defence or Incident Response teams
• Strong hands-on experience across security monitoring, incident response and digital forensics
• Experience building, scaling or maturing SOC capabilities
• Strong understanding of threat hunting, threat intelligence and detection engineering
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR and security automation platforms
• Familiarity with cloud security environments and modern enterprise security architectures
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, GCIA, CISM or equivalent are advantageous
