ERP Business Analyst (6-months contract, East)

As an ERP Business Analyst based in Singapore, you will be at the heart of operational excellence by acting as a bridge between business users and technical teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve engaging with stakeholders from Finance and Supply Chain departments to gather requirements for system enhancements.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with business stakeholders from Finance and Supply Chain departments to understand, analyse, and document detailed business requirements for ERP enhancements.
  • Evaluate change requests thoroughly, assessing their impact on existing business processes as well as system functionality to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Facilitate clear communication between business users and external vendors, ensuring that requirements are accurately translated into system solutions.
  • Review functional specifications prepared by vendors, confirming they match business expectations and deliver the desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate the delivery of change requests by monitoring progress through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, executing tests, tracking issues, and ensuring successful resolution before go-live.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, decisions made during project phases, and all implemented changes for future reference.
  • Serve as a key contact point for ERP-related incidents and service requests, analysing reported issues to identify root causes and coordinating resolutions.

What You'll Need

  • More than 2 years' experience in business analysis and project management
  • Good experience with finance or supply chain processes would be preferred
  • Prior experience with Dynamics 365 ERP will be an added advantage, else eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work with regional internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage project effectively
  • Strong analytical skills allow you to assess change requests thoroughly and identify root causes of reported issues within the ERP system.
