AI Infrastructure Architect (GPU Platforms)

Our client is an AI technology company looking for an experienced infrastructure architect to lead the design of large-scale GPU compute environments that power AI model training and high-performance inference workloads.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing end-to-end AI infrastructure architecture covering GPU servers, compute nodes, storage, networking and supporting hardware
• Architecting high-performance GPU clusters, including GPU interconnects and ultra-low latency networking
• Evaluating and selecting hardware platforms, components and vendors based on performance, compatibility and scalability
• Producing hardware configurations, capacity plans and bill of materials for enterprise AI deployments
• Working closely with infrastructure, operations and deployment teams during implementation, testing and commissioning
• Supporting hardware validation, troubleshooting and optimisation throughout deployment
• Driving technical decisions around emerging AI infrastructure technologies, including next-generation accelerators, liquid cooling and high-density compute environments
• Partnering with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors to deliver scalable AI infrastructure solutions

What you'll bring:

• Experience architecting large-scale GPU compute platforms or enterprise server infrastructure
• A strong understanding of modern AI compute hardware and GPU server technologies
• Hands-on expertise with high-speed networking for distributed compute environments
• Experience designing scalable GPU clusters and high-performance network architectures
• Deep knowledge of server hardware and infrastructure planning, from component selection through to deployment
• The ability to produce robust hardware designs, capacity plans and technical documentation
• Experience delivering infrastructure within high-density data centre environments, with an appreciation of power and cooling requirements
• A track record of partnering with hardware vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects
• This role requires regular collaboration with engineering and project teams across Hong Kong and other Mandarin speaking regions. As such, professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with regional stakeholders and technical teams.
