FX Platform Engineer (DevOps / Production Support)

Our client is a leading financial services firm, seeking a FX Platform Engineer (DevOps / Production Support) to join their front-office trading technology team. The role focuses on supporting and enhancing an electronic FX platform actively used across Asia, ensuring high availability, stability, and continuous improvement of live trading systems.

What you’ll do:

• Owning production stability for FX trading applications
• Debugging and fixing issues across live systems
• Rolling out enhancements to existing platforms (not just building new ones)
• Working directly with users (traders, desk tech, ops) to solve real problems
• Managing deployments, patches, and cloud-based environments
• Improving monitoring, observability, and resilience

What you'll bring:

• Experience supporting real-time, high-availability trading or financial systems in production environments
• Ability to troubleshoot across application, data, and infrastructure layers independently
• Strong understanding of DevOps / production engineering practices (monitoring, incident response, deployments)
• Comfortable working in complex or legacy systems, improving stability and performance over time
• Exposure to FX, eTrading, or capital markets platforms and trade lifecycle flows
• Familiarity with market data, time-series or analytics systems (e.g. KDB+ or similar environments)
