Software Engineer (Embedded, C++, Linux)

About the Role We're partnering with an innovative technology company that is expanding its engineering team in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering team developing next-generation embedded software for intelligent connected products used in global markets. You'll play a key role in designing and building embedded software from the ground up, working across the full software development lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to influence software architecture, develop reusable software platforms, and collaborate closely with hardware and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Linux-based platforms.
• Build scalable and reusable software components across multiple product lines.
• Develop and maintain customised embedded Linux platforms and system software.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust and reliable software.
• Participate in software architecture, design, testing, debugging, system integration, and deployment.
• Drive software quality through code reviews, continuous integration, and engineering best practices.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve product performance and maintainability.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience developing embedded software using C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux development.
• Experience customising or maintaining Linux operating systems for embedded devices.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel OR device drivers
• Experience with software version control, build systems, and modern software engineering practices.
