Lead AI Engineer

About Our Client Our client is an established consulting firm leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and automation to enhance business processes and service delivery. They are seeking a hands-on AI Engineering Lead to lead a team of AI Engineers and drive the development and deployment of production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions, including LLMs, Agentic AI workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to AI Engineers while remaining hands-on in development.

• Translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions and integrate them into enterprise platforms through APIs.

• Establish engineering best practices across CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and production deployment.

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support AI applications, ensuring data quality and traceability.

• Implement AI evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and cross-functional teams to drive AI adoption and deliver projects successfully.

• Keep abreast of emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing production-grade LLM and Agentic AI applications.

• Experience leading or mentoring AI Engineers, or serving as a Technical Lead.

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or scikit-learn.

• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, RAG architectures, vector databases, and LLM evaluation.

• Experience with API development, CI/CD, and production deployment.
