This unique opportunity offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact by optimising the schedules, commitments, and daily obligations of the Employer and their family. You will benefit from a supportive work environment that values open communication, transparency, and mutual respect.
The role promises a strong work-life balance, allowing you to thrive both professionally and personally while contributing your organisational talents and creative problem-solving skills. With comprehensive transition support and access to well-documented procedures, you will be empowered to excel from day one. If you are looking for a varied and rewarding position where your attention to detail and ability to collaborate with others will be truly valued, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
- Enjoy a stable, long-term position with a reputable Singaporean family that prioritises work-life balance and healthy communication within the team.
- Benefit from a comprehensive onboarding process with detailed transition guides and historical data at your fingertips, ensuring you feel supported as you settle into your new role.
- Apply your creativity, organisational skills, and positive attitude in a diverse range of tasks, from travel planning to asset management, all within an inclusive and collegiate working environment.
What you'll do:
As a Personal Assistant in this esteemed household based in Singapore, you will play an integral part in ensuring the smooth running of daily life for the Employer and their family. Your days will be filled with diverse responsibilities ranging from meticulous travel planning during busy holiday seasons to managing essential payments for household expenses.
- Coordinate all aspects of family travel during peak holiday periods, including researching optimal flight routes and fares, booking hotels, and planning detailed itineraries for various destinations.
- Facilitate timely payment of family-related bills such as house vendor invoices and school fees by liaising with relevant parties and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Oversee the management of family rewards programmes by tracking points, redeeming benefits, and maintaining up-to-date records for maximum value.
- Handle magazine subscription renewals efficiently to ensure continuous delivery without interruption or oversight.
- Organise weekday lunches for the Employer by coordinating with vendors or preparing arrangements according to preferences and dietary requirements.
- Plan and coordinate the distribution of festive hampers during holidays by working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery to recipients.
- Maintain regularly updated lists for the Employer covering areas such as art collections, friends’ contacts, holiday hampers recipients, and other personal inventories.
- Assist in tracking and managing Employer assets including vehicles (with responsibility for insurance renewals) and wine collections (covering procurement and inventory management).
- Run periodic errands such as purchasing gifts, cards, or hampers for special occasions while ensuring thoughtful selection and timely delivery.
- Monitor upcoming events or concerts on a monthly basis and handle ticket bookings as required to align with the Employer’s interests and schedule.
- Collaborate consistently with other staff members such as the Chauffeur and House Manager to ensure seamless household operations.
What you bring:
To excel as a Personal Assistant in this role, you will bring proven experience in managing complex schedules, handling confidential information discreetly, and supporting senior individuals or families with diverse needs. Your interpersonal skills will shine through as you build trusting relationships not only with the Employer but also with other staff members.
- Demonstrated ability to stay deeply organised with exceptional attention to detail across multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- A keen eye for presentation quality—ensuring documents, lists, and communications are formatted attractively with visual appeal.
- Proven self-starter who enjoys using ingenuity and creativity when approaching challenges or finding solutions independently.
- Desire for a balanced lifestyle while being committed to building long-term roots within a supportive workplace setting.
- Strong commitment to transparency, honesty, and open communication—both giving and receiving constructive feedback positively.
- Comfortable operating within a small but highly collaborative team where collegiality is valued over hierarchy or office politics.
- Ability to remain optimistic under time pressure or deadlines while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Willingness to work regular office hours even when the Employer is travelling abroad or otherwise occupied.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; medium-level Excel skills are preferred but willingness to learn is welcomed.
