This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience and driving business growth within a highly respected, international organisation. You will be empowered to deliver premium customer service, optimise store performance, and lead a passionate team towards achieving ambitious revenue goals. The company offers a supportive environment that values flexibility, professional development, and cross-departmental collaboration. If you are looking for a position where your expertise in retail management will be valued and your ideas welcomed, this is the perfect next step in your career.

What you'll do:

As Retail Manager, you will be entrusted with full responsibility for the end-to-end management of all direct-to-consumer stores in Singapore. Your days will be varied—balancing strategic planning with hands-on involvement in store activities. You will focus on elevating the customer experience by ensuring high standards of service delivery while also driving business performance through careful analysis of KPIs. Your ability to inspire Store Managers will be crucial as you nurture a culture of collaboration and shared achievement. In addition to overseeing daily operations, you will take ownership of major projects such as new store launches or refurbishments. Working alongside colleagues from HR, Finance, Merchandising, and Marketing will allow you to address challenges swiftly while supporting aftersales care initiatives that reinforce the brand’s reputation for quality service. Success in this role means consistently exceeding targets through thoughtful process improvements and empowering your team to excel.

  • Oversee daily operations of all direct-to-consumer retail stores in Singapore, ensuring smooth processes and delivery of premium customer service to every shopper.
  • Achieve annual sales budgets by monitoring key performance indicators, reviewing store results, and implementing strategies to drive sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Manage profit and loss responsibilities by analysing financial data, optimising costs, and ensuring sustainable profitability across all locations.
  • Lead new store openings, renovations, and other retail projects on time and within budget while maintaining alignment with brand standards; negotiate new leases and renewals as required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute engaging retail campaigns and in-store activations that increase footfall and enhance the customer journey.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures to maximise efficiency, compliance, and consistency throughout the retail network.
  • Coach, train, and motivate Store Managers to achieve business objectives while fostering a customer-focused culture built on teamwork and mutual support.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to resolve operational issues quickly and enhance overall store success through effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support the Aftersales Service Centre division by ensuring smooth operations for customer repairs and delivering service excellence at every touchpoint.

What you bring:

To excel as Retail Manager, your background should reflect substantial experience managing multi-site retail operations where you have demonstrated not only technical proficiency but also emotional intelligence when guiding teams. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build trust among colleagues from various departments while nurturing an inclusive environment that values each individual’s contribution. A keen eye for detail paired with commercial awareness ensures you can balance cost control with investment in people development. Your approachability makes it easy for others to seek guidance or share feedback openly—qualities that foster continuous improvement throughout the organisation. By bringing together analytical thinking with empathy for both customers’ needs and employees’ aspirations, you will help shape a thriving workplace where everyone feels supported.

  • Hold a diploma or degree in Business Administration or Retail Management or possess equivalent relevant qualifications that demonstrate your understanding of retail best practices.
  • Have at least five years’ experience at managerial level within retail operations where you have independently managed day-to-day store activities with proven results.
  • Demonstrate a track record of leading teams effectively—motivating staff members to reach their potential while delivering best-in-class customer service outcomes.
  • Show resilience and adaptability when working across both retail environments and office settings; you thrive under pressure without compromising quality or attention to detail.
  • Possess strong analytical skills enabling you to manage profit-and-loss statements confidently while reviewing KPIs to optimise store performance for long-term profitability.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities combined with sound decision-making skills that ensure positive outcomes for both customers and the business.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint so you can analyse data efficiently and present insights clearly.
  • Communicate fluently in both spoken and written English to engage effectively with diverse teams and customers across Singapore.
  • Display accountability for your work by taking ownership of results—ensuring high standards are met consistently within your scope of responsibility.
