What you'll do:

As a Sales Analyst in this high-performing team based in Singapore, you will immerse yourself in the world of data analytics to drive meaningful change across the organisation’s commercial operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you working with vast datasets from diverse sources—internal systems as well as external market intelligence—to deliver insightful analysis that supports key business decisions. You will be instrumental in identifying trends within sales performance by industry segment or product line while also monitoring external factors that may present new opportunities or challenges. Your expertise will help uncover areas where revenue can be optimised through targeted interventions. In addition to regular reporting duties, you will develop sophisticated predictive models that inform future planning cycles. Collaboration is central to this role; you will work hand-in-hand with colleagues from operations, marketing, finance, IT, and customer service to ensure seamless integration of products and services. Your input will shape commercial strategies through detailed benchmarking exercises against competitors. Furthermore, your involvement in ad-hoc projects means you’ll have direct influence over process improvements—making your contributions vital not only for immediate results but also for long-term organisational success.

  • Extract, manage, and analyse substantial volumes of data from both internal cross-functional databases and external sources to support robust reporting, forecasting, and planning activities.
  • Conduct detailed country performance analysis by industry, product, and lane to identify emerging trends, strengths, and areas requiring improvement within the sales function.
  • Monitor the external business environment proactively to identify potential opportunities or risks that could influence overall sales performance.
  • Identify instances of revenue leakage across various channels and propose effective corrective actions aimed at improving business retention rates and driving sustainable growth.
  • Benchmark organisational performance against competitors and prevailing market trends to ensure continued commercial competitiveness.
  • Lead planning and forecasting processes by delivering accurate, timely data-driven insights that underpin strategic decision-making across the business.
  • Develop predictive models and scenario analyses designed to support sales strategy formulation and revenue planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to align forecasts with broader business objectives while consolidating inputs for bottom-up projections.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive commercial reports at both product and lane levels, ensuring actionable insights are provided to optimise pricing strategies, product positioning, and customer targeting efforts.
  • Participate actively in cross-functional projects focused on enhancing sales performance, operational efficiency, system improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements.

What you bring:

To excel as a Sales Analyst within this leading global organisation based in Singapore, your background should reflect hands-on experience working with large datasets using modern business intelligence tools. Your ability to interpret complex information accurately—and communicate findings clearly—will set you apart when collaborating across departments on strategic initiatives. A keen eye for detail combined with advanced Excel skills ensures your reports are both reliable and insightful. Experience developing predictive models or scenario analyses demonstrates your forward-thinking approach while familiarity with programming languages like SQL or Python adds further value. Your academic credentials should include at least a degree-level qualification relevant to analytics or quantitative disciplines; additional certifications signal your commitment to ongoing professional growth. Above all else, your interpersonal skills—particularly when working collaboratively—will enable you to build strong relationships throughout the organisation while contributing positively towards its inclusive culture.

  • A minimum of three to five years’ experience in analytics-focused roles such as consulting, business planning or product/project management within complex environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing Business Intelligence platforms including Tableau or Microsoft Power BI alongside technical expertise in database design development as well as advanced data mining techniques.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access) with particular strength in Power BI for creating impactful dashboards and reports.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities enabling you to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven capability in projection methodologies and forecasting techniques relevant to commercial environments.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with a creative mindset allowing you to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing or participating in project management activities within cross-functional teams aimed at achieving shared objectives efficiently.
  • A degree qualification in Business Management, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics providing a solid foundation for analytical thinking required by this position.
  • Additional certifications related to Data Analytics would be considered advantageous for candidates seeking further professional development opportunities.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL or Python as well as experience with machine learning concepts would be beneficial though not essential.
