A leading international law firm is seeking a Business Development and Marketing Coordinator to join their Asia regional team in Singapore. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in supporting business development and marketing initiatives across the region, working closely with knowledgeable colleagues who are committed to your professional growth. * Join a globally recognised law firm with a strong reputation for excellence and a collaborative culture that values your contributions and supports your career progression through comprehensive training opportunities. * Enjoy flexible working arrangements designed to help you balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments, all within an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and encourages open communication. * Work alongside experienced professionals on impactful business development and marketing projects, gaining exposure to high-level client interactions, industry research, and event coordination while developing valuable skills for your future.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate regular updates of web and print marketing content, including attorney biographies, practice area descriptions, office profiles, and related news items to ensure accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
  • Collect and maintain representative matters, deals lists, client information, and industry lists for use in various marketing materials that support business development efforts throughout the Asia region.
  • Draft responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), customised pitches, and business development presentations tailored to prospective clients’ needs.
  • Assist in the production, editing, and distribution of internal newsletters, client updates, and other communications that keep stakeholders informed about key developments.
  • Coordinate client events from start to finish by managing budgets, drafting invitations, handling advertising (both internal and external), attending events as needed, measuring return on investment (ROI), and ensuring thorough participant follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the public relations team on announcements regarding new lateral hires and partner promotions to maximise positive exposure for the firm.
  • Support the Business Development team by compiling research on existing and prospective clients, monitoring competitor activity, and analysing industry or market trends to inform strategic marketing plans.
  • Schedule directory submissions and coordinate industry award applications to enhance the firm’s visibility within the legal sector.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management in response to evolving business needs or special projects.
  • Prioritise multiple simultaneous projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality under tight deadlines.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a similar field provides a solid foundation for understanding best practices in business development within a professional services context.
  • One to three years’ experience implementing business development initiatives—preferably within a law firm or similar professional environment—demonstrates your familiarity with industry expectations.
  • Strong organisational skills enable you to prioritise tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities allow you to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues at all levels while building positive relationships across departments.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills empower you to craft clear messages tailored for diverse audiences both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ensures you can produce polished documents efficiently; familiarity with SharePoint is also beneficial.
  • Experience using InterAction CRM systems, website content management systems (CMS), or Concep Campaigner software would be advantageous but is not required.
  • Demonstrated flexibility allows you to adapt quickly as priorities shift or new challenges arise within a fast-evolving work environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently—even when under pressure—reflects your reliability as a trusted member of the team.
  • Effective research skills—including internet-based research—equip you to gather actionable insights on clients, competitors, or market trends.
