This is an exceptional opportunity for you to leverage your expertise within the semiconductor industry and make a significant impact on the company’s growth trajectory. You will be joining a forward-thinking team that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and supportive leadership, all while working with high-demand products such as epoxy molding compounds and film packaging materials. The organisation boasts over a century of history and is rapidly expanding its electronics division, offering you exposure to diverse markets and the chance to shape the future of semiconductor solutions. Flexible working opportunities and cross-regional projects await those who are passionate about building lasting client relationships and contributing to communal success.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager – Semiconductor Industry, you will be entrusted with expanding business relationships and developing new materials tailored specifically for clients in this fast-evolving sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve engaging with key decision-makers across multiple countries, identifying opportunities for growth, coordinating cross-regional projects, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external partners. Success in this role will come from your ability to foster trust-based client relationships, understand complex technical requirements related to products like epoxy molding compounds (EMC), and drive collaborative efforts that support both local and international business objectives. You will also play an integral part in supporting knowledge transfer within the team while representing the organisation at industry events to further strengthen its presence in new markets.

  • Expand existing business relationships by identifying new opportunities for tailored materials and products within the semiconductor sector.
  • Develop strategies to grow market share by understanding client needs and emerging trends in the industry.
  • Lead sales and business development initiatives across Singapore, Malaysia, India, Philippines, and Europe, ensuring consistent execution of regional objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-regional projects by collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders from various geographies.
  • Demonstrate leadership by managing complex regional initiatives that require effective communication and teamwork.
  • Foster strong client relationships through regular engagement, understanding their requirements, and delivering value-added solutions.
  • Monitor market developments to identify potential areas for product innovation or service enhancement within the electronics division.
  • Support internal knowledge sharing by working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure best practices are implemented across all regions.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events or meetings as required to enhance brand visibility and build strategic partnerships.

What you bring:

To excel as a Sales Manager – Semiconductor Industry, your background should include substantial experience in sales or business development within top-tier semiconductor organisations. Your familiarity with backend processes such as EMC will enable you to quickly grasp client requirements and propose relevant solutions. In addition to technical know-how, your interpersonal skills will be crucial for nurturing long-term partnerships both internally and externally. A willingness to travel extensively reflects your dedication to supporting regional expansion efforts while maintaining close connections with stakeholders. Your ability to collaborate effectively across cultures ensures that projects are delivered smoothly regardless of geography. By bringing together these qualities—industry expertise, technical acumen, empathy in relationship management—you will help drive sustainable growth for the organisation’s electronics division.

  • Proven track record in sales or business development roles within leading semiconductor companies such as Micron, ON Semiconductor, Infineon, Amkor, Siltronic, GlobalWafers (MEMC), or GlobalFoundries is essential for this position.
  • Direct experience working with Micron is highly preferred due to the nature of current client engagements.
  • Familiarity with backend processes such as epoxy molding compound (EMC) is considered highly desirable for success in this role.
  • A proactive approach combined with a hands-on mindset enables you to effectively manage complex sales cycles across different regions.
  • Ability to lead cross-regional initiatives by fostering collaboration among diverse teams ensures smooth project delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for managing both client relationships and internal coordination tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Southeast Asia countries (Singapore, Malaysia, India, Philippines) as well as Europe demonstrates your commitment to regional growth objectives.
  • Excellent communication abilities allow you to articulate technical concepts clearly when engaging with clients or presenting at industry events.
