What you'll do:
As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across multiple Asian markets. Your role will involve processing purchase orders, tracking inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with third-party logistics providers, and ensuring inventory accuracy. You will act as a dependable point of contact between internal teams, suppliers, dealers, freight forwarders, and warehouse partners. Success in this position requires you to maintain meticulous records in ERP systems such as MS Business Central or SAP while responding quickly to any supply disruptions or operational challenges. You will also support inventory reconciliation efforts and help resolve discrepancies by collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Your ability to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines will be crucial as you contribute to smooth order fulfilment and timely deliveries.
- Process and manage purchase orders to suppliers according to approved requirements, ensuring all records are accurately maintained within the ERP system.
- Monitor supplier confirmations, delivery schedules, and outstanding orders while proactively following up on delays or changes to guarantee timely supply.
- Coordinate with Finance and relevant stakeholders on invoice and purchasing-related issues, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Accurately process dealer sales orders within agreed timelines, validating against pricing, promotions, credit terms, and customer requirements.
- Track scheduled orders through pick, pack, collection, and delivery stages as per specified incoterms, updating shipment information promptly in ERP systems.
- Collaborate closely with country managers and regional Sales & Operations managers to resolve order exceptions or discrepancies.
- Work with 3PL warehouse partners to prepare products for outbound shipment, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Arrange incoming shipments with appointed freight forwarders based on supplier delivery schedules, coordinating shipping documentation and import clearance.
- Monitor inventory levels and stock movements, sending expedite requests when necessary to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
- Identify potential supply or inventory issues early and escalate them proactively while maintaining accurate supply chain transaction records.
