Procurement Associate
Our client is seeking a Procurement Associate to join its APAC procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional to support sourcing and purchasing activities across a leading global organisation within the technology and financial services industry. Working closely with regional stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving procurement excellence, supplier management, and operational efficiency across the business. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting IT or technology procurement and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with regional exposure.
What you'll do:
As a Procurement Associate, you will support end-to-end procurement activities while partnering with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure efficient sourcing, purchasing, and supplier performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage end-to-end procurement operations, including purchase order processing, supplier engagement, and procurement administration across the APAC region
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, timely delivery, and value-driven commercial outcomes
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective procurement solutions
- Coordinate logistics and monitor the delivery of equipment and technology-related purchases, resolving issues proactively when required
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements while supporting invoice reconciliation and supplier payments
- Contribute to regional procurement initiatives, reporting, process improvements, and other strategic projects as required
What you bring:
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong procurement fundamentals, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of procurement experience, ideally supporting IT, technology, infrastructure, or related spend categories
- Good understanding of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and purchasing processes
- Experience using procurement or ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Ariba, GEP, or similar platforms
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
