Supply Planning and Sales and Operations Planning Specialist
What you'll do:
- Maintain comprehensive production and capacity plans for microwave rice and snacks categories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Manage both short-term and long-term capacity constraints across co-manufacturing partners, facilitating smooth operations within the supply chain.
- Integrate Thailand co-manufacturing capacity into broader ANZ and International Sales and Operations Planning cycles, promoting effective collaboration between regions.
- Confirm capacity fit during the vetting and qualification process for new co-manufacturing partners, supporting strategic expansion initiatives.
- Support execution of new product development by partnering closely with Procurement and Technical Process Engineering teams to ensure timely formulation transfer into manufacturing sites.
- Assist in systems setup and electronic data integration for newly onboarded co-manufacturing partners, streamlining their entry into S&OP processes.
- Track On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performance and inventory flow between co-manufacturing partners and the business, providing accurate data for quarterly reviews.
- Provide detailed capacity and supply performance reports to inform business decisions and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate effectively across matrixed reporting lines, balancing priorities between two categories within a 0.5 FTE structure.
- Engage with external co-manufacturing partners in Thailand to facilitate production planning coordination and maintain strong relationships.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated experience in supply or production planning or S&OP within FMCG or food manufacturing environments is highly desirable for this position.
- Proven track record of working with co-manufacturing or outsourced production partners adds significant value to your application.
- Experience supporting new product development execution through cross-functional coordination enhances your suitability for this role.
- Comfort operating in a part-time shared capacity across two reporting lines and product categories is essential for success.
- Degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or related discipline is required; additional planning or S&OP certifications are advantageous.
- Exceptional planning and forecasting capabilities enable you to manage complex supply chains effectively.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills allow you to build collaborative relationships across matrixed teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail ensures accurate tracking of OTIF metrics and inventory flows between partners.
- Advanced data literacy supports your ability to generate insightful reports that inform business decisions.
- Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently within a 0.5 FTE structure demonstrates your dependability.
