What you'll do:

As a Supply Chain Executive – Logistics based in Singapore, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of the supply chain. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you engaging with suppliers across the region to secure timely procurement of goods while maintaining rigorous standards for documentation accuracy. You will work collaboratively with internal teams such as Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Warehouse Operations and Finance to align procurement activities with broader business objectives. By leveraging your keen attention to detail and analytical mindset, you will monitor inventory levels closely—identifying discrepancies early on—and support both routine cycle counts and more complex stock audits. Your ability to coordinate logistics operations will be crucial as you oversee shipment bookings from start to finish; this includes preparing trade documentation for exports and liaising with third-party providers.

* Execute end-to-end procurement activities including RFQ/RFx processes, supplier quotation comparisons, cost analysis, and meticulous documentation management.

* Create and manage purchase orders using SAP, track order status diligently, and process goods receipt notes accurately to ensure seamless supply fulfilment.

* Coordinate closely with suppliers on pricing negotiations, order confirmations, production updates, delivery schedules, and export requirements to support timely deliveries.

* Administer effective supplier communications by expediting critical orders, monitoring performance metrics, resolving or escalating delivery issues, quality concerns, compliance matters or supply risks as needed.

* Maintain precise inventory records through regular system updates and reconciliation of physical stock with digital records while supporting cycle counts and audits.

* Assist in aligning demand with supply by proactively flagging potential shortages or overstock situations to relevant teams for prompt action.

* Oversee logistics operations by coordinating shipment bookings, managing collections from suppliers, consolidating freight movements, selecting appropriate transport modes for local and export deliveries.

* Track shipments rigorously by maintaining accurate estimated times of arrival (ETAs) in SAP and communicating any delays or changes promptly to stakeholders.

* Liaise effectively with warehouse teams and third-party logistics partners to prepare orders for dispatch, manage returns processes, validate shipping documents, and resolve inbound handling issues efficiently.

* Compile comprehensive reports on key supply chain metrics such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover ratios, stock ageing profiles, and order fulfilment performance while generating actionable insights from data analysis.

* A diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration is required; a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or operations is advantageous but not mandatory.

* At least three years’ experience in supply chain management, procurement processes, logistics coordination or inventory control is preferred though not essential for highly motivated candidates eager to learn.

* Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms is highly desirable for efficient order processing and inventory tracking.

* Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential for clear documentation management and stakeholder engagement across diverse backgrounds.

* A proven track record of analytical thinking combined with numeracy skills that enable you to interpret operational data accurately—identifying trends or root causes behind issues quickly.

* Experience working directly with suppliers or within logistics focused environments would be considered an added advantage when navigating complex logistical challenges.
