Strategic Sourcing Manager

Strategic Sourcing Manager (Regional) A leading global organisation is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their highly regarded Global Procurement team in Singapore, supporting the Asia Pacific region. You will play a pivotal part in shaping sourcing strategies across multiple business units, with a particular focus on Capital Works and Facilities Management.

What you'll do:

• Provide expert procurement guidance and commercial insights to internal customers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with internal stakeholders and key vendors by understanding diverse business needs across the region.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and enhance robust sourcing strategies tailored to regional requirements.
• Negotiate skillfully with key stakeholders and vendors to facilitate delivery and compliance with established procurement frameworks.
• Determine specifications and requirements for products and services through close collaboration with stakeholders and strategic planning.
• Make informed sourcing recommendations based on financial analysis, cost structures, vendor alignment with organisational objectives, industry positioning, and marketplace offerings.
• Understand both internal and external environments for goods and services required by the business to support change management initiatives.
• Adhere strictly to purchasing frameworks and vendor risk management policies while supporting regional sourcing opportunities.
• Communicate persuasively the impact of market changes and potential effects on vendors to stakeholders across various functions.
• Innovate within the procurement space by identifying new ways to structure Source-to-Pay (S2P) programmes or categories.

What you bring:

• 10+ years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement roles within large-scale organisations operating across Asia Pacific.
• Proven category experience in Capital Works and Facilities Management including A&A works, office renovations, facilities operations, MEP/infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex commercial negotiations, conduct competitive market analysis, manage supplier performance using structured metrics and scorecards.
• Strong stakeholder management skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly organised approach with meticulous attention to detail; able to work independently while maintaining structure amidst ambiguity.
• Solid contractual knowledge supported by strong negotiation capabilities; understanding of contract law and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Adaptable mindset with quick learning abilities for new tools or systems relevant to procurement processes.
• Project management experience demonstrating capacity to drive outcomes collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Continuous growth demonstrated within previous organisations; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications mandatory.
• Experience in fast-paced data-driven environments; applied knowledge of international trade terms; SAP or other ERP systems proficiency; CPP/CIPS/CPM certification desirable.
