What you'll do:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Singapore, you will be entrusted with overseeing the end-to-end process of designing robust Transmission & Distribution solutions that address complex customer needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve evaluating technical specifications from clients, developing detailed electrical design packages, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for project execution, and supporting testing phases such as FAT, SAT, and T&C. You will also play a key role in value engineering efforts aimed at enhancing solution quality while maintaining compliance with industry standards. By assisting in standardisation initiatives and participating in knowledge sharing activities, you will help drive continuous improvement within the team. • Propose Transmission & Distribution solutions tailored to customer application requirements while ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Evaluate customer specifications and bid documents meticulously to define technical parameters for electrical solution design.
• Provide value engineering insights aimed at improving the overall value proposition of proposed solutions.
• Act as the lead engineer by coordinating closely with clients and design teams to facilitate successful project bidding and execution.
• Prepare, review, and develop comprehensive electrical design packages throughout the project lifecycle including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Bill of Materials (BOM), General Arrangements (GA), technical specifications, system studies, schematics, interface engineering, and design calculations.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Testing & Commissioning (T&C) as required to ensure seamless delivery and energization of electrical systems.
• Assist in standardising processes and continuously improving T&D solutions as well as technical deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders at every stage of the project to guarantee alignment on objectives and deliverables.
• Contribute actively to knowledge sharing initiatives within the team to foster communal learning and professional development.
