Trade & Digital Marketing Manager (3 months contract)
A leading organisation is seeking a Trade and Digital Marketing Manager to drive brand growth and market impact across key Asian markets. What you'll do:
As Trade and Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand visibility across Asia by executing strategic trade promotions, engaging in-store activations, and innovative digital campaigns.
- Plan, support, and execute high-impact trade promotions, in-store activations, and digital campaigns for both retail and e-commerce channels through agency partners.
- Analyse trade, sales, and campaign data to extract actionable insights that optimise future marketing investments across multiple Asian markets.
- Manage relationships with regional agencies, PR firms, and channel partners to co-develop creative trade and brand campaigns including below-the-line, social media, on-ground events, and digital initiatives.
- Coordinate regional activities by assimilating plans and serving as the touch point for knowledge transfer and sharing across teams.
- Track category dynamics, consumer behaviour trends, and competitor activity to identify white-space growth opportunities for the brand.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and asset alignment across all consumer touchpoints to maintain strong brand stewardship.
- Monitor marketing spend and campaign KPIs closely to maximise ROI and efficiency in all promotional activities.
- Coordinate sourcing of B2B & B2C premiums across the region and supplier network as an essential part of marketing plans.
- Apply organisational processes and policies effectively while proactively contributing to all areas of the business.
- Represent the interests of the fresh produce industry with integrity in every aspect of your work.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for Trade and Digital Marketing Manager brings extensive experience in trade promotions and digital campaigns within fast-moving consumer goods or fresh produce industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field is required for this position.
- At least five years’ experience in trade and digital marketing within FMCG or fresh produce sectors is highly desirable.
- Proven track record working across regional Southeast Asian countries with an understanding of local market nuances.
- Experience thriving in high-growth environments where adaptability is essential.
- Proficiency in Mandarin coupled with deep knowledge of Greater China consumer behaviour and retail dynamics is preferred due to the geographical remit of this opportunity.
- Exceptional communication skills enabling clear expression in both oral and written formats for diverse audiences.
- Ability to develop win-win relationships through cooperative partnerships with internal teams as well as external agencies.
- Strong influencing skills allowing you to gain support for ideas, proposals, projects or solutions from stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset capable of systematically gathering data to identify key issues and develop workable solutions.
- Self-management skills demonstrated by reflecting on past experiences to continually improve performance.
