What you'll do:
As an HRIS Specialist you will be instrumental in driving the successful migration of HR systems to Workday across multiple regional markets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams—HR professionals, IT experts and external partners—to ensure all business requirements are accurately captured and translated into effective system solutions. You will review existing processes for opportunities to streamline operations while accommodating local market needs. By coordinating testing activities and supporting data migration efforts you will help maintain high standards of data integrity. - Support the end-to-end migration from existing HR systems to Workday across the organisation’s regional operations by coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Partner with HR teams, IT departments, and implementation consultants to gather, document, and validate business requirements for system configuration.
- Translate operational HR needs into functional specifications, system workflows, and Workday configurations that align with business objectives.
- Review current HR processes across different markets to identify opportunities for standardisation, simplification, and automation while maintaining local compliance.
- Assist with system configuration tasks including data migration, integration activities, testing phases, and deployment efforts to ensure smooth transition.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, scripts, issue logs and facilitating feedback sessions with relevant users.
- Support employee data cleansing, validation, reconciliation and migration activities to guarantee completeness and accuracy throughout the process.
- Identify system gaps, project risks and dependencies; work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Contribute to go-live preparation including system cutover planning and post-implementation stabilisation support for end users.
- Provide ongoing functional expertise across Workday modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Learning and Compensation.
