What you'll do:
As an HRIS Specialist you will be at the heart of a transformative Workday migration initiative. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex HR operational requirements into streamlined system solutions. You will play an integral role in configuring workflows that support recruitment, onboarding, talent management and succession planning while ensuring compliance with internal policies. By coordinating testing activities and supporting data migration efforts you will help guarantee the accuracy of employee information during this critical transition. Your expertise will be essential in identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation as well as facilitating change-management initiatives that drive adoption among users. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement coupled with meticulous attention to detail when managing sensitive employee data. You will also contribute to developing workforce reports and dashboards that improve accessibility of HR analytics across the organisation.
- Support the end-to-end migration from existing HR systems to Workday across regional operations by partnering with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation consultants to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Translate operational HR needs into functional specifications, system workflows, and Workday configurations while reviewing existing processes for standardisation and automation opportunities.
- Assist with system configuration, data migration, integration, testing, deployment activities, and coordinate user acceptance testing including preparation of test scenarios, scripts, and issue logs.
- Lead employee data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and migration efforts to ensure completeness and accuracy throughout the transition.
- Identify system gaps, project risks, dependencies and work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Support go-live preparation, system cutover activities, and post-implementation stabilisation by providing ongoing functional guidance.
- Provide expertise across Workday modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Learning, Compensation, Organisation Management and Employee Self-Service.
- Work closely with HR teams to understand recruitment, onboarding, performance management and talent review requirements ensuring workflows align with internal policies and governance.
- Advise stakeholders on Workday capabilities and limitations while driving greater consistency in HR processes across local markets.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and process-mapping discussions; communicate project progress and changes effectively; develop documentation and conduct training sessions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or Business Administration or related discipline is required for this position.
- Relevant experience in HRIS implementation projects or system migrations involving hands-on participation in end-to-end activities is essential.
- Proven track record working with Workday HCM preferably within regional or multi-country implementations is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of core HR processes including Recruitment, Talent Management and Performance Management along with knowledge of full employee lifecycle is expected.
- Experience gathering business requirements from stakeholders and translating them into functional system solutions is vital for success.
- Demonstrated ability supporting data migration activities including cleansing validation reconciliation as well as user acceptance testing post-go-live support is important.
- Excellent communication skills enabling effective interaction between HR business users technical stakeholders external partners are necessary.
