Senior HR Generalist/Executive Assistant
A leading global confectionery orgnanisation is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist/Executive Assistant to join their Singapore office. What you'll do:
As a Senior Human Resources Generalist and Executive Assistant in Singapore, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that span both strategic HR functions and executive support.
- Lead the recruitment process by collaborating closely with hiring managers, negotiating offers, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Conduct comprehensive onboarding activities to facilitate smooth transitions for new starters and foster a welcoming environment.
- Manage HR administrative tasks including preparing employment contracts, updating employee records, processing contract changes, and maintaining accurate HR documentation.
- Plan, implement, and review employee surveys and pulse checks to identify areas for improvement and derive actionable measures.
- Initiate workshops and training sessions based on identified needs to enhance skills development and promote continuous learning.
- Oversee monthly payroll processing for employees as well as expense reimbursements to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Support the enforcement of HR policies and procedures while assisting in employee relations matters such as addressing queries and concerns.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, projects, tools, benefit policies, and performance management systems aligned with overall business objectives.
- Review talent management strategies including succession planning to ensure organisational continuity and growth.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as external labour law regulations to maintain legal integrity.
- Contribute actively to creating a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives.
- Supervise the Office Administrator while managing general office operations to ensure efficient day-to-day functioning.
- Organise travel arrangements, accommodation bookings, visa requirements, and business itineraries for the General Manager across APAC and MEA regions.
- Manage the General Manager’s calendar by coordinating meetings across different time zones and facilitating effective communication with regional stakeholders.
- Assist the General Manager in preparing presentations, reports, business documents, and coordinating regional projects while monitoring progress across various markets.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Human Resources Generalist and Executive Assistant role brings extensive experience in human resources management along with proven ability to provide dependable executive support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field is required for this position.
- Minimum five years of proven experience in an HR role or similar position demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
- Familiarity with contemporary HR practices including policies, procedures, employment laws relevant to Singapore is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills combined with strong time management abilities enable you to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary while experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors is preferred.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English are vital for effective interaction across diverse teams.
- High level of discretion when dealing with confidential information ensures trustworthiness within the organisation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple time zones demonstrates flexibility in supporting remote multicultural teams.
