Senior Manager, People & Culture (4-months maternity cover)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading international professional services organisation for a 4-months contract opportunity. This is a strategic and operational leadership role supporting senior stakeholders across Southeast Asia, with responsibility for driving people initiatives, talent management, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Manager, People & Culture, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders while overseeing HR operations and strategic people initiatives across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic HR advice across talent management, organisational development, employee relations, workforce planning, and leadership effectiveness
- Lead the delivery of key HR programmes including performance reviews, promotions, remuneration reviews, employee engagement initiatives, and talent development activities
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, mobility programmes, work pass administration, and employee lifecycle processes across Southeast Asia
- Drive regional HR projects and people initiatives in partnership with global centres of excellence, including learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and culture programmes
- Utilise people data and workforce insights to support business planning, decision-making, and organisational effectiveness
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small HR team while continuously improving HR processes and service delivery
What you bring:
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong HR business partnering experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance strategic advisory responsibilities with operational execution.
You will ideally have:
- Proven HR Business Partnering experience within a professional services, legal, consulting, or matrixed multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations, talent management, and organisational development practices
- Demonstrated experience partnering and influencing senior stakeholders and business leaders
- Previous people leadership experience with a track record of coaching and developing team members
- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities
- Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline will be advantageous
