What you'll do:

As a Health Economics Associate Consultant based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in developing robust health economic models that drive decision-making in healthcare reimbursement and market access. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to conceptualise models tailored to specific therapeutic areas. You will engage deeply with literature reviews to extract relevant data, plan insightful interviews with key stakeholders, and produce technical reports that communicate findings clearly. Success in this role requires you to be detail-oriented while maintaining a broad perspective on healthcare trends. You will also have opportunities to present your work at conferences through abstracts or posters, further enhancing your professional profile. By supporting training initiatives and contributing feedback on process improvements, you will help foster a culture of shared learning within the team. • Build and adapt health economic models by drafting modelling plans, contributing to the creation and adaptation of complex models, sourcing local data, and preparing support materials such as reports and training programmes.
• Develop and execute various health economic modelling projects, including scenario analyses, model conceptualisation, execution on specified platforms, and creation of technical reports and slide decks.
• Expand expertise across multiple therapeutic areas to enhance the relevance and applicability of models for diverse healthcare challenges.
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews involving abstract screening, paper selection, and meticulous data extraction to inform model development.
• Plan, prepare, and conduct interviews with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other stakeholders to gather valuable project insights.
• Draft, revise, and submit abstracts, posters, and manuscripts based on economic models for conferences and publications.
• Collaborate effectively within project teams both independently and under supervision to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Support the development of training materials for internal teams or external stakeholders to facilitate understanding of health economic concepts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of modelling processes by sharing feedback and participating in communal knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Maintain high standards of documentation for all modelling activities to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

To excel as a Health Economics Associate Consultant you will bring proven experience in developing sophisticated health economic models that inform critical decisions in healthcare policy. You possess excellent interpersonal skills which enable you to collaborate effectively within teams as well as engage thoughtfully with external stakeholders such as Key Opinion Leaders. Your familiarity with advanced software tools like Excel VBA—and ideally R or R-Shiny—allows you to execute complex analyses efficiently. You are comfortable navigating multiple therapeutic areas thanks to your adaptable mindset; this flexibility supports your ability to learn quickly when faced with new challenges. Your written communication skills shine through when drafting scientific materials for publication or presentation. Above all else your commitment to responsible documentation practices ensures every project meets rigorous standards for transparency.

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Epidemiology, Health Economics, Health Policy, Pharmacy, Statistics, Engineering or related field is required for this position.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in health economic modelling including developing models such as CBA (Cost-Benefit Analysis), CEA (Cost-Effectiveness Analysis), CMA (Cost-Minimisation Analysis), BIM (Budget Impact Model), CCA (Cost-Consequence Analysis) and BIA (Budget Impact Analysis).
• Proven track record of initiating and delivering health economic models and tools that support reimbursement or market access across Europe, the US or Asia.
• Familiarity with Excel VBA is essential for this role; knowledge of R or R-Shiny is considered advantageous.
• Strong communication skills enabling you to work both independently as well as collaboratively within diverse teams.
• Adaptable approach with quick learning abilities for new knowledge applications relevant to evolving project requirements.
• Willingness to travel when required for stakeholder engagement or project delivery.
• Ability to conduct thorough literature reviews including abstract screening, paper selection and data extraction for model inputs.
• Experience drafting scientific abstracts, posters or manuscripts for conferences or publications based on economic modelling outputs.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation ensuring transparency throughout all modelling activities.
