What you'll do:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve reviewing client documentation for both onboarding new accounts and conducting periodic reviews across Singaporean and Hong Kong portfolios. You will act as a dependable resource for front office teams by providing clear guidance on documentation requirements while also managing system updates related to account status.
- Conduct comprehensive documentation checks during onboarding and periodic reviews for accounts managed in Singapore and Hong Kong, including private banking clients, common service providers, IAMs, and BI accounts.
- Ensure all submitted documentation aligns with internal policies as well as local regulatory standards, maintaining rigorous control throughout the review process.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new and existing accounts by addressing operational queries, facilitating onboarding processes, managing periodic reviews, and handling various service requests.
- Provide strong advisory support to front office teams regarding documentation requirements, especially when there are changes in client circumstances or complex cases arise.
- Manage end-to-end system updates related to onboarding and periodic reviews, including account blocking where necessary to ensure compliance.
- Oversee the management of client notifications such as welcome letters and account PMIE notifications, ensuring timely communication with clients.
- Organise and produce detailed statistical reports related to client accounts upon request from management or stakeholders.
- Review and process tax documentation thoroughly, performing completeness checks and reasonableness assessments on all submitted tax forms.
- Engage proactively in process improvement activities aimed at driving efficiency gains and enhancing overall service quality within the team.
- Participate actively in transformational change initiatives such as process automation, workflow mapping, collation of industry best practices, and support for global projects spanning Asia.
