What you'll do:

As a Client Services Know Your Customer Analyst Private Banking based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both clients and internal teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless operations while conducting thorough KYC and AML checks. You will assist Relationship Managers with investment trade execution across multiple asset classes such as FX, bonds, equities, funds, and structured products. Administrative tasks will include maintaining detailed transaction records and updating client data. You will also oversee the infrastructure for dealing with investment products, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.

  • Coordinate daily with product development teams, operations staff, and other functional counterparts to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication across departments.
  • Conduct all required Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes, and documentation with meticulous attention to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist Relationship Managers by providing periodic investment market updates, facilitating placement and execution of over-the-counter (OTC) and listed investment trades including foreign exchange, bonds, equities, funds, and structured products.
  • Offer comprehensive administrative and client support to Relationship Managers by maintaining accurate client transaction records, reports, and up-to-date client data.
  • Oversee dealing infrastructure, processes, and systems for investment products while being responsible for sales documentation, product agreements, and service level agreements.
  • Ensure superior customer service is consistently delivered by responding promptly to client needs and contributing positively to the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and uphold best practices in wealth management operations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information while adhering to compliance standards set by regulatory authorities.
  • Support the implementation of new products or process enhancements by sharing feedback from clients and internal teams.
  • Contribute actively to a communal team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues in achieving shared goals.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Client Services Know Your Customer Analyst Private Banking role brings proven academic credentials in finance-related fields along with practical experience in wealth management operations. Your familiarity with economic principles enables you to understand market trends while your knowledge of investment products allows you to support trade execution confidently. Proficiency in Mandarin as well as English equips you to communicate effectively with Mandarin speaking international clients.   • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines is required for this position.
  • Sound understanding of economics principles as well as best market practices relevant to wealth management business is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investment products including foreign exchange (FX), bonds, equities, funds, and structured products is highly desirable.
  • Business proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin besides English is necessary so as to serve China-based customers effectively.
  • Multi-tasking skills are important for handling tight deadlines on short assignments within a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities are needed for building trustful relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
