Portfolio Management Associate, Real Estate

Our client, an asset management firm, is actively recruiting for a Portfolio Management Associate to join their growing team.

Our client a dynamic asset management firm specialising in real estate and private equity funds. With a global presence, they manage diverse portfolios including sustainable infrastructure and other real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operations of assigned funds in alignment with fund documentation and company policies.
• Update and maintain fund models using the latest available data to evaluate portfolio performance and composition.
• Address investor inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Prepare periodic investor reports (e.g., monthly and quarterly) and assist in forecasting cash flows at both asset and fund levels.
• Contribute to the preparation and submission of regulatory filings.
• Assist with group-level reporting and compliance tasks, including but not limited to: tracking global assets under management (AUM), monitoring fund/asset-level metrics, conducting KYC/AML checks, preparing corporate presentations, maintaining fund structure charts, and evaluating outsourcing arrangements.
• Oversee business plans and operational activities for assets under management.
• Provide support in establishing new funds and investments, including compiling deal documentation.

Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Minimally 1 year of relevant work experience; prior exposure to cash flow modelling and familiarity with real estate, finance, or legal concepts is advantageous.
• Strong report-writing skills with an aptitude for quantitative analysis and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset with flexibility to take on tasks beyond the defined scope of the role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and international offices.
