Corporate Controller

A leading global investment firm in Singapore is seeking a Corporate Controller to join their finance team. This role offers you the opportunity to work across multiple entities, ensuring the highest standards of financial accuracy and compliance. You will be empowered to act as an independent reviewer and contributor, supporting strategic decision-making through insightful management reports and analyses.

What you'll do:

The Corporate Controller partners closely with the CFO, Finance leadership team, business units, auditors, and other key stakeholders to strengthen financial discipline, improve reporting processes, and support informed business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes.
• Oversee accounting, consolidation, and preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage external and internal audit processes.
• Partner with the CFO, FP&A, and business leaders on financial analysis and strategic initiatives.
• Lead and develop the corporate accounting team.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and finance systems enhancements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including controllership experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation, internal controls, and audits.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
