A leading financial institution in Singapore is seeking a VP, Finance Analytics to join their Management Information & Data Analytics team. What you'll do:

As Vice President Finance Analytics based in Singapore, you will be instrumental in advancing the organisation’s management information capabilities.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build financial models that underpin critical business reviews.
• You will design performance dashboards that provide clarity on operational metrics while coordinating analytical support for budgeting cycles and strategic planning sessions.
• By driving enhancements in data infrastructure—integrating multiple source systems—you will ensure robust governance standards are met. Your focus on process efficiency will help streamline workflows during month-end reporting periods.
• You’ll document methodologies for transparency and partner with IT specialists to scale AI initiatives across the business.
• Success in this role requires you to communicate findings clearly to senior leaders using compelling visualisations while championing best practices in quality assurance.

What you bring:

To excel as VP, Finance Analytics you will bring extensive experience from financial services environments such as investment banking or asset management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Statistics or related disciplines is required; ideally complemented by a recognised professional accounting qualification with management accounting background.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, management information, business intelligence or analytics roles within financial services such as investment banking or asset management.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA/Macros as well as complex financial modelling techniques.
• Advanced skills in Power BI covering data modelling, DAX language usage, custom visualisations creation, dashboard design principles and Power BI Service administration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries, extracting relevant datasets from multiple sources, transforming raw data into actionable insights and optimising query performance.
• Experience using Python or R for data analysis alongside familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate or Alteryx for efficient data preparation workflows.
• Exceptional communication skills enabling you to explain intricate analyses clearly to non-technical audiences through effective storytelling with data visualisation principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or participate in data quality initiatives including implementation of validation rules, reconciliation processes and error monitoring systems.
• Good understanding of AI/ML concepts as well as emerging technologies relevant to finance analytics transformation projects.
• Proven track record of documenting standardised methodologies for transparency and facilitating knowledge transfer within collaborative teams.
