The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in managing end-to-end regulatory reporting review and remediation projects, working closely with various teams including Internal Audit, Compliance, IT, and Finance.

What you'll do:

As a Manager, Regulatory Reporting, you will be entrusted with overseeing critical projects that underpin the organisation’s compliance with MAS regulations.

  • Manage comprehensive regulatory reporting review and remediation projects within the MAS regulatory environment, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Translate evolving regulatory requirements into actionable project plans, clear timelines, and well-defined deliverables that align with organisational objectives.
  • Coordinate all aspects of regulatory reviews, audits, and examinations by preparing evidence packs, drafting responses, and facilitating smooth communication between internal teams and external regulators.
  • Drive issue remediation efforts by tracking audit and regulatory findings, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and closure of outstanding items.
  • Lead initiatives focused on data quality remediation and oversee system enhancements, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and final delivery signoff to guarantee robust solutions.
  • Act as the central liaison point among Internal Audit, Compliance, IT, Finance, and external regulators to ensure seamless information flow and alignment on key priorities.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation related to regulatory reports such as procedures, policies, and process maps to support ongoing compliance efforts.
  • Provide regular updates through detailed status reports and participate in steering committee briefings to keep senior management informed of project progress and emerging risks.

What you bring:

To excel as a Manager, Regulatory Reporting you will bring substantial experience gained within financial institutions where you have been responsible for managing complex regulatory projects.

  • A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in regulatory reporting, regulatory review, audit coordination or other control functions within a financial institution is required for this position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reviewing, validating or overseeing submissions made to regulators is highly desirable for this role.
  • Exceptional project management skills are essential; you must be able to juggle multiple stakeholders, deadlines and deliverables with ease while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline is required; additional professional qualifications such as CPA or CFA would be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for building effective relationships across departments including Internal Audit, Compliance, IT and Finance.
  • Strong written communication abilities are needed for preparing clear documentation such as procedures, policies and status reports that support ongoing compliance efforts.
  • Proven track record in driving issue remediation processes by tracking findings from audits or reviews through to successful closure is important for this role.
  • Experience leading data quality remediation initiatives or system enhancements—including UAT oversight—will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
