Play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end regulatory reporting and automation projects, ensuring all submissions are timely, accurate, and fully compliant with evolving requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Regulatory Reporting to enhance processes and deliver robust solutions that meet business needs.
What you'll do:
As an Analyst, Finance Change and Regulatory Reporting, you will play an integral part in supporting the organisation’s commitment to regulatory excellence.
- Drive the complete process of regulatory reporting and automation delivery by ensuring all regulatory returns are submitted accurately, on time, and in full compliance with relevant standards.
- Manage and continuously improve the Regulatory Reporting Datamart by implementing strong data governance practices that uphold data integrity across all reporting activities.
- Translate complex regulatory and business requirements into clear functional specifications and detailed data documentation to guide project delivery.
- Work collaboratively with teams from Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and IT to support enhancements in reporting processes as well as remediation initiatives.
- Support the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that all implemented solutions meet both regulatory expectations and internal control requirements.
- Operate effectively within a resource-constrained environment by prioritising tasks efficiently while managing multiple concurrent priorities.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for process improvement within finance change projects by leveraging your analytical skills and stakeholder insights.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MAS regulations and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance in all reporting activities.
- Provide clear communication and thorough documentation throughout project lifecycles to facilitate transparency among stakeholders.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to data quality or system performance during the course of regulatory change delivery.
What you bring:
To excel as an Analyst, Finance Change and Regulatory Reporting, your background should include hands-on involvement with MAS regulations or equivalent frameworks alongside exposure to large-scale data management projects.
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a Business Analyst within the banking sector or financial services industry is required for this role.
- Demonstrated understanding of MAS regulatory frameworks or similar financial regulations is highly desirable for effective performance.
- Proven track record working with complex datasets, financial systems, and diverse stakeholder groups within large organisations.
- Exceptional analytical abilities combined with strong documentation skills enable you to translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for engaging effectively with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning test cases and validating outcomes against control requirements.
- Familiarity with SAS or similar analytics tools would be considered an advantage but is not mandatory for application.
- Ability to manage competing priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a resource-constrained environment.
- A collaborative approach that fosters positive relationships across teams is essential for delivering successful project outcomes.
