Finance Manager

What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager based in Singapore, you will play an integral role in ensuring the seamless operation of financial processes within a dynamic fund management environment.
- Oversee the monthly closing process and prepare comprehensive management reports for the fund manager, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial documentation.
- Collaborate with external service providers to coordinate the preparation and review of quarterly financial statements for various venture capital and private fund entities.
- Manage payroll processes, expense payments, distributions, and cash assets across several legal entities, maintaining meticulous records at all times.
- Prepare audit schedules and regulatory reports, including quarterly and annual submissions required by local authorities such as MAS.
- Work closely with HR teams and external tax advisors to review and manage tax submissions to IRAS, including Form C, IR8A, and GST filings.
- Liaise with legal professionals and corporate secretaries on matters related to entity compliance and legal documentation requirements.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and administrative duties as needed to support smooth business operations across departments.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies while upholding high standards of integrity.
- Support internal stakeholders by providing timely financial insights that inform strategic decision-making processes.
- Contribute positively to team initiatives by sharing knowledge, offering support during peak periods, and participating in process improvement discussions.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position brings substantial experience from within the finance sector—preferably gained in asset management or private funds environments—alongside formal qualifications such as an accounting degree or professional accreditation.
- Hold a degree in Accounting or possess another recognised accounting qualification that demonstrates your technical expertise in finance.
- Ideally accredited as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), bringing added credibility to your professional profile.
- Demonstrate proven experience within the finance function of asset management or related industries, particularly involving fund structures or private equity vehicles.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail combined with strong organisational abilities that enable you to multi-task efficiently without compromising quality.
- Showcase effective communication skills that allow you to collaborate seamlessly with both internal teams and external service providers such as auditors or tax advisors.
