Our client is a leading international banking institution with an established presence across Asia and growing global footprint. They are actively recruiting for a driven and seasoned professional to join them as a Product Manager to join their Corporate Banking team.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Management

  • Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps to align with the Bank’s business goals, customer needs, and revenue objectives.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including ideation, requirements gathering, development, launch, enhancement, and post-implementation review.

Product Development & Digital Transformation

  • Lead initiatives to develop and enhance corporate banking products and digital solutions such as customer onboarding, KYC lifecycle management, online banking, and transaction banking services.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and digitize internal processes and customer-facing workflows to improve operational efficiency and client experience.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with teams across Business, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Head Office to ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to regulatory and internal standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders during product implementation and enhancement projects.

Project Management & System Enhancement

  • Contribute to product implementation projects, system upgrades, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful delivery of new functionalities.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend improvements based on user feedback, business needs, and market trends.

Product Governance & Documentation

  • Prepare, review, and maintain policies, procedures, user guides, and operational documentation related to products to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of product-related policies and procedures for updates or enhancements.

Product Promotion & Training

  • Support commercialisation efforts by preparing product materials, business proposals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Deliver training sessions on products and provide ongoing support to business teams and other internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in areas such as banking operations, corporate banking, commercial banking, credit analysis, trade finance, corporate lending or loan operations is advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to credit analysis, credit proposal preparation, corporate lending processes or post-loan monitoring will be an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of corporate banking products such as loans, trade finance solutions, cash management services or FX products is desirable.
  • Strong financial statement analysis skills with the ability to assess company financials, business models and key risk factors effectively.
  • Familiarity with KYC processes, AML/CFT regulations, client onboarding protocols or compliance requirements is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong communication skills and attention to detail; ability to coordinate across teams effectively.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment focused on achieving targets is essential.
