Client Due Diligence (6 months)

You will play a crucial part in ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding the organisation’s reputation by conducting thorough Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) reviews for high and medium-risk customers.

Job Description

• Conduct Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) reviews for High and Medium-risk customers within the MSL business sectors, including periodic reviews and event-triggered reviews.
• Perform customer outreach to obtain information and supporting documentation required for review completion, when required.
• Respond to Business Unit’s queries and provide guidance on AML/CFT/PF and CDD/ECDD matters, applying appropriate risk-based judgment and sensitivity.
• Prepare clear, well-supported risk assessments and recommendations.
• Ensure all assigned reviews are completed within stipulated timeline.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with at least 3–5 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry, preferably in Compliance, or Customer Due Diligence functions.
• Professional certifications such as ACAMS or qualifications from the International Compliance Association (ICA) will be advantageous.
• Sound understanding of banking products, services, and industry practices.
