A leading multinational financial services organisation with a global presence is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales professional to join its Global Markets team, specialising in Listed Derivatives. This role focuses on business development, client relationship management, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver strategic solutions in listed futures and options.
The position is revenue-generating and requires a strong understanding of derivatives markets, client needs, and regional regulatory frameworks. While an existing portfolio of clients is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Coverage & Relationship Management
- Develop and manage a portfolio of institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, banks, proprietary trading desks and corporates.
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers across the client base.
- Serve as the primary contact for listed derivatives execution, clearing, and related services.
Business Development
- Identify and onboard new clients across Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
- Drive regional sales strategies aligned with global business objectives.
- Promote exchange-traded futures and options across various asset classes such as equities, rates, commodities, and FX.
Product Knowledge & Execution
- Provide market insights, product education, and execution strategies tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal desks and clearing operations to structure customised trading and clearing solutions.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, quantitative teams, legal/compliance departments to develop and deliver client-centric solutions.
- Coordinate with exchange partners for product promotion and joint initiatives.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in listed derivatives sales, trading, or clearing services.
- Proven track record in revenue generation and client development within the Asia-Pacific region.
- Strong knowledge of global listed derivatives markets and clearing infrastructure.
- Fluency in Korean language at the native level is highly preferred as this position requires managing Korean speaking clients and stakeholders.
