Save job

This role is to support the Sales & Marketing Management Office (SMO) in delivering exceptional client engagement across Private Wealth Management Asia. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration and enjoys working at the intersection of sales, marketing, and client experience. You will play a part in orchestrating high-quality, compliant, and impactful events that align with business priorities, while also contributing to marketing initiatives and internal communications.

What you'll do:

As an Events Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving client engagement through the meticulous planning and execution of events that reflect the highest standards of quality and compliance.

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of business financial reporting, client profiles, and sales production data to senior management as part of sales management responsibilities.
  • Prioritise the client account opening process by aligning each case with business objectives to optimise resource allocation and deliver efficient service.
  • Strengthen inter-business referrals management by fostering collaboration between different Business Units to maximise opportunities for all parties involved.
  • Monitor key sales performance indicators and conduct regular reviews to identify potential concerns early and escalate them promptly when necessary.
  • Support the seamless delivery of both large-scale flagship events and smaller client forums by managing invitations, RSVP tracking, logistics, materials preparation, and on-the-day execution.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Product, Compliance teams as well as external vendors to ensure smooth event delivery that meets all business objectives.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining both client-facing and internal marketing materials such as newsletters, event communications, and announcements while ensuring consistency with branding guidelines.
  • Contribute actively to internal engagement initiatives designed to enhance communication across various teams within the organisation.
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere strictly to internal policies, approval workflows, risk standards, budget tracking requirements, documentation protocols, and audit compliance needs.
  • Track event participation metrics and outcomes; prepare comprehensive post-event reports that provide insights for future planning while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

What you bring:

The ideal Events Specialist brings proven experience from financial services or related sectors where they have demonstrated their ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple teams.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline provides a solid academic foundation for this role.
  • Two to three years’ relevant experience within financial services—ideally private banking—or significant internship experience demonstrating interest in events or marketing is highly desirable.
  • Strong coordination skills enable you to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different teams effectively.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities allow you to foster positive relationships internally as well as externally with vendors or partners.
  • Outstanding organisational skills help you handle numerous priorities simultaneously without compromising on attention to detail or quality standards.
  • A proactive approach ensures you are reliable and accountable when taking ownership of tasks or responding quickly to emerging needs within the team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills empower you to craft clear messages for diverse audiences while facilitating smooth information flow between departments.
  • Technical comfort with digital tools—and an interest in leveraging AI—will help you enhance productivity throughout your daily responsibilities.
  • Experience supporting budget tracking processes along with documentation practices aligned with audit requirements is advantageous for maintaining compliance standards.
