Associate, Institutional Services

Our client, a well established financial trading firm with global presence, is seeking exceptional individuals to join its fast-growing APAC Institutional Services group as an Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to institutional and enterprise clients including banks, hedge funds, financial advisors, and introducing brokers.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality support to clients by resolving technical, account, and trade-related enquiries across multiple channels, including phone, live chat, and ticketing systems
• Take ownership of client issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and a seamless client experience
• Guide clients through the full trading lifecycle, providing clear support on areas such as account funding, position transfers, corporate actions, margin requirements, and statement reconciliation
• Contribute to a variety of business initiatives and projects, including client engagement activities, platform demonstrations and training, as well as market and industry research

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree
• Strong familiarity in one or more asset classes – Stocks, ETFs, Options, FX, Funds, Futures, Fixed Income
• Strong ability to think critically and reason about complex systems and processes
• Maintain composure and professionalism in fast-paced and stressful situations
• Excellent communication skills
• At least 3 years of prior experience at a large financial institution
• Licensed with CMFAS 1A, 2A, CM-EIP and CM-SIP or be able to obtain by attending to licensing paper exams within a short period after onboarding
• Fluency in productivity applications (e.g. Excel, JIRA/Confluence) is a plus
