This role offers you the opportunity to shape and evolve the debit card product portfolio, focusing on customer value proposition, usage growth, and lifecycle optimisation. You will play a pivotal part in refreshing benefits across affluent and emerging affluent segments, ensuring that offerings are operationally sound, commercially viable, and closely aligned with customer needs.

What you'll do:

As a Debit Cards Benefits Manager based in Singapore, you will be entrusted with overseeing the entire debit card product portfolio.

  • Take ownership of the debit card product value proposition across key customer segments including emerging affluent and affluent groups, ensuring alignment with evolving market needs.
  • Identify customer requirements, usage drivers, and pain points through research and analysis to inform enhancements and refresh initiatives for the product portfolio.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor and market benchmarking activities to maintain product relevance and differentiation within the industry.
  • Drive strategic initiatives aimed at increasing debit card activation rates, usage frequency, and spend penetration among target segments.
  • Monitor portfolio performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for optimising customer engagement and profitability.
  • Support marketing campaigns and offers in collaboration with internal teams to stimulate everyday card usage and maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and manage card benefits programmes across both debit and credit portfolios by identifying, refreshing or rationalising benefits tailored to target segments.
  • Ensure all benefits are clearly positioned within the overall card value proposition so customers understand their advantages.
  • Work closely with network partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver new features and enhancements for debit cards.
  • Support issuer-specific priorities while aligning with broader payments strategy to ensure consistency across products.

What you bring:

To excel as a Debit Cards Benefits Manager in Singapore, you should bring proven expertise in cards product management—ideally within the realm of debit cards or consumer banking.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field is required for this position.
  • 5–8 years of experience in cards product management is highly desirable; experience in debit cards or consumer banking is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of debit card mechanics including payments flows and regulatory considerations is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously within a matrixed environment demonstrates your dependability.
  • Excellent project management skills combined with cross-functional collaboration abilities are vital for success.
  • Detail-oriented approach ensures execution-focused delivery of complex projects under tight deadlines.
