What you'll do:
As a Sales Manager (Commercial Cards Product), you will play an instrumental role in implementing advanced commercial payment solutions for a prominent financial institution.
- Develop deep product expertise over time to proactively advocate as a subject matter expert to clients, requiring comprehensive understanding of product functionality, regulatory issues, technology trends, and operational environments.
- Assess client business needs thoroughly and identify functional capabilities required to help clients add value-adding features that drive their success.
- Leverage internal assets and resources effectively to ensure an exceptional implementation and integration journey for clients throughout all stages of the process.
- Identify and develop key focus sectors such as healthcare, government, and logistics by crafting tailored value propositions that resonate with each segment’s unique requirements.
- Execute go-to-market activities by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders including product managers, finance teams, operations specialists, legal advisors, compliance officers, user experience professionals, as well as external partners on both sides.
- Support clients in identifying new sales opportunities while increasing existing usage of commercial capabilities to achieve ambitious portfolio growth targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders as well as client representatives to foster trust and long-term collaboration.
- Participate actively in solving client challenges by proposing innovative solutions that support their portfolio expansion objectives.
- Monitor macro trends impacting payments, banking, and financial services industries to inform strategy development and execution plans.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulatory standards while maintaining high levels of attention to detail throughout every phase.
What you bring:
To excel as a Sales Manager (Commercial Cards Product) role, you will bring substantial experience from roles focused on product management or presales consulting within commercial or financial services settings.
- A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience involving product management, presales consulting or launching new products—preferably within commercial segments or financial services environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as business administration, economics, finance, computer science or engineering; Master’s degree in related fields is advantageous.
- Demonstrated balance between strategic thinking and meticulous execution with exceptional attention to detail when managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills including storytelling abilities and confident presentation delivery tailored for diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of program or project management within matrixed organisations operating across multiple countries and cultures.
- Experience engaging clients in product management or specialist roles with an aptitude for researching business processes and proposing effective solutions.
- Familiarity with SME or large corporate-focused roles involving internal approvals management, launch planning and communications coordination.
- Ability to assimilate macro trends affecting payments ecosystems—including banks and financial services—and translate insights into actionable value propositions for clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to build rapport quickly with both internal colleagues and external partners alike.
