What you'll do:

As Finance Director for the J-KAST region based in Singapore you will play a central role in guiding financial strategy across multiple countries.

• Lead the delivery of financial targets across the J-KAST region by ensuring clear accountability for revenue, gross margin, profit, cash flow, working capital, and other key financial metrics.
• Serve as the senior finance partner to the Regional President and Leadership Team by shaping regional strategy, evaluating growth opportunities, and driving business performance through robust financial insight.
• Provide strategic and operational financial advice to global leaders and business unit directors by analysing complex data and offering constructive commercial critique.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the region by establishing credible assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring reliable performance forecasts.
• Monitor and analyse regional financial performance by identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement to enhance profitability and agility.
• Drive improvements in working capital management, margin optimisation, cash conversion rates, revenue forecasting accuracy, cost control measures, and return on capital employed.
• Supervise the preparation, consolidation, and submission of regional financial reporting by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, consistency with group requirements, and statutory compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls by enforcing rigorous governance standards across all entities in the region while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with group finance teams on trading models, transfer pricing strategies, cash management solutions, entity structure considerations, and audit processes.
• Build and develop a high-performing regional finance team by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, talent development, and strong business partnering.

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles including statutory requirements regulatory compliance internal controls financial reporting standards.
• Proven track record leading budgeting forecasting planning processes alongside performance management initiatives across diverse regions or business units.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with problem-solving abilities enabling interpretation of complex operational data into actionable recommendations.
