Finance Executive (Contract)

What you'll do:

• Manage financial operations for the IT Business Group, including handling accruals, overseeing recharging models, and conducting finance closing activities with precision.
• Take responsibility for daily budgeting processes by tracking expenses accurately and ensuring all financial data is up-to-date.
• Collaborate closely with the IT team to provide insightful financial analysis and support key decision-making processes that drive business outcomes.
• Work together with the Hong Kong finance team to align on cross-border financial matters, fostering effective communication and shared understanding.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports as required by the reporting manager, presenting findings clearly and concisely.
• Ensure compliance with established accounting principles and practices while maintaining meticulous attention to detail across all tasks.
• Utilise financial tools such as Excel efficiently for data management, analysis, and reporting purposes.
• Support the implementation of recharging models by providing guidance and ensuring accurate allocation of costs across departments.
• Assist in the reconciliation of accounts during finance closing periods to guarantee accuracy and completeness of records.
• Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to communal goals for continuous improvement.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required for this position.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles demonstrates your dependability and expertise.
• Experience managing recharging models is highly desirable as it supports communal cost allocation processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles ensures compliance and accuracy across all financial operations.
• Proficiency in using financial tools such as Excel enables efficient data management and reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is considered beneficial but not mandatory for success in this role.
• Excellent analytical skills allow you to interpret complex data sets with sensitivity to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills in English facilitate effective collaboration within diverse teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both local colleagues and international partners fosters interdependent relationships.
• Meticulous attention to detail ensures all records are accurate and reliable.
