Head of Data Strategy and Enablement

Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Technology, the Head of Data Strategy & Enablement will:
- Developing and leading the organisation’s enterprise-wide data strategy, driving maturity in governance, architecture, analytics, and culture.
- Overseeing the design, integration, and optimisation of the data platform across multiple cloud and application environments.
- Driving the capture, management, and activation of first-party data to create measurable business value.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to translate data into operational improvements and commercial outcomes.
- Leading the adoption of AI and GenAI solutions in production, ensuring they are secure, compliant, and embedded into workflows.
- Managing a lean internal team and a portfolio of external vendors to deliver strategic projects on time and within budget.
- Championing data literacy, accessibility, and governance across the organisation, ensuring compliance with privacy and protection regulations.
Job Requirements
- At least 10+ years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related disciplines, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven success in designing and executing multi-year data strategies, including governance frameworks and organisational change initiatives.
- Strong technical fluency in modern data platforms, BI tools, cloud environments, and data lake/warehouse architectures (hands-on coding not required).
- Experience delivering outcomes through lean teams and vendor/partner ecosystems.
- Demonstrated track record of deploying AI/GenAI in live production environments with tangible results.
- Exceptional stakeholder influence skills, able to align executives and operational teams around data-driven priorities.
