What you'll do:
As a Talent Specialist based in Singapore, you will be at the heart of transformative talent initiatives that spans across the APAC region.
- Play a central role in conceptualising, facilitating, and executing key talent projects across the region, ensuring alignment with both local and global objectives.
- Drive early careers strategies by managing external stakeholders and implementing initiatives designed to increase campus footprint and brand awareness among emerging talent populations.
- Facilitate discussions and design comprehensive onboarding processes for new joiners, line managers, HR teams, and international employees relocating to the region.
- Revamp communication toolkits for performance management and development processes by creating engaging materials for mid-year reviews and individual development plans.
- Act as a key facilitator when presenting new talent projects or updates to employees, ensuring clear communication of objectives and outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the Learning Management System (LMS), maintaining accurate training data and generating timely reports for management review.
- Coordinate participant management for training events, oversee vendor relationships, manage logistics for both virtual and in-person sessions, and ensure seamless event execution.
- Lead vendor creation processes by liaising with relevant teams for payment coordination while tracking training budgets to guarantee timely financial updates.
- Collaborate with regional and global counterparts to align on best practices in talent management, fostering strong inter-personal connections across borders.
- Analyse training data meticulously to provide actionable insights that support continuous improvement of learning programmes.
What you bring:
To excel as a Talent Specialist in this role, your background should reflect proven experience supporting learning or talent development functions within fast-evolving organisations.
- Hold a recognised Bachelor's Degree with at least three years’ experience in learning/training or talent development roles within complex organisations.
- Demonstrate maturity through excellent organisational skills; able to prioritise tasks independently while remaining responsive to shifting business needs.
- Showcase an ability to see broader organisational goals while connecting details across various projects; proactively engage stakeholders to resolve challenges collaboratively.
- Exhibit confidence when facilitating large group presentations or leading project discussions with internal or external audiences.
- Display comfort working extensively with online management systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms; proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is essential.
- Possess analytical capabilities required for accurate data analysis and reporting on training activities; able to present findings clearly to senior leaders.
- Maintain high attention to detail when managing learning management system records; adept at troubleshooting discrepancies within L&D data sets.
- Build strong relationships through effective communication skills; demonstrate agility in adapting quickly to new information or changing circumstances.
- Have an excellent command of written and spoken English suitable for business communications across multicultural environments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Singapore’s western region as required by project demands.
