What you'll do:

As Finance Manager, you will lead the Singapore finance function, overseeing daily operations and ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, managing statutory accounts, implementing accounting policies, and conducting reconciliations. You’ll collaborate with lawyers, support teams, and auditors while guiding a small team and contributing to efficient cross-departmental workflows.

• Manage the full finance function, ensuring compliance with internal and local requirements.
• Lead and support a small team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Prepare timely and precise financial reports for both local office needs and regional requirements, supporting strategic decision-making processes.
• Maintain consistent accounting policies across all finance activities.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from other departments such as legal teams, secretarial services, and office support to facilitate smooth business operations.
• Liaise with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Report directly to the Regional Finance Controller for Asia.

What you bring:

You bring strong experience in finance within a legal or professional services setting, with the ability to lead a small team and manage end-to-end financial operations. Technical expertise, strong communication, and attention to detail are essential, along with a collaborative mindset.

• At least seven years’ experience in a similar role within legal or professional services.
• Recognised accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• Proven leadership skills in managing small teams.
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
• Fluent in English, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with accounting systems.
• Familiarity with statutory accounts preparation and local compliance.
• Reliable, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
