An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Scientific Liaison specialising in Oncology to join a highly respected pharmaceutical organisation. This role offers you the chance to immerse yourself in the latest scientific advances, work closely with leading healthcare professionals, and play a pivotal part in shaping medical strategies that impact patient outcomes.

What you'll do:

As a Medical Scientific Liaison Oncology based in Singapore, you will be at the forefront of scientific exchange between the organisation and the wider healthcare community.

  • Maintain an advanced level of scientific understanding in oncology by staying abreast of disease states, research developments, approved treatments, and investigational therapies to ensure credible communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and manage an integrated list of key opinion leaders (KOLs), ensuring robust coverage through regular field visits
  • Organise and conduct educational meetings such as continuing medical education (CME) sessions and scientific projects to enhance disease state awareness and promote the safe use of therapeutics.
  • Support various medical and patient-focused programmes by tracking activities diligently and following up to ensure their successful execution and measurable impact.
  • Share valuable insights gathered from interactions with the medical community to inform internal teams and guide strategic decision-making processes.
  • Participate actively in cross-functional meetings by sharing external stakeholder perspectives that help shape relevant medical access and product strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to foster strong relationships with KOLs, thereby enhancing the organisation’s reputation for commitment to patients and expertise development.

What you bring:

To excel as a Medical Scientific Liaison Oncology in Singapore, you will bring proven experience from similar roles within the pharmaceutical sector—ideally focused on oncology—alongside advanced academic qualifications such as a degree in Life Sciences or Medicine.

  • A high-level science degree such as Life Sciences, Pharmacy, MBBS or PhD
  • Demonstrated experience or formal training in oncology is strongly preferred to ensure credibility when engaging with healthcare professionals.
  • At least two years’ experience as a Medical Scientific Liaison within the pharmaceutical industry is essential for success in this role.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain credible relationships with key opinion leaders is vital for effective field engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills are necessary for presenting complex scientific concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • A strong aptitude for learning new clinical data quickly enables you to convey both clinical and non-clinical technical information accurately.
