Business Development Lead

As a Business Development Lead, you will immerse yourself in all aspects of sales, marketing, and client engagement within one of Singapore’s most respected exchanges. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners as you work on designing innovative products that address market demands. You will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with key clients such as clearing members and market makers, and supporting impactful marketing campaigns.
- Contribute actively to the research and design of new derivative products tailored to meet evolving market needs and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, engage, and grow a robust client base within the derivatives industry by building dependable relationships with clearing members, market makers, clients, and external partners.
- Serve as a liaison between internal business units and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication during new product launches and ongoing initiatives.
- Apply your extensive knowledge of product functionality or specific product lines when representing the organisation to external parties, ensuring accurate information dissemination.
- Collaborate with brokers on strategic product marketing campaigns designed to raise awareness and drive adoption of listed products.
- Assist in operational tasks related to maintaining existing products, ensuring their continued relevance and performance in the marketplace.
- Support marketing efforts aimed at increasing visibility of products among target audiences through various channels and events.
- Explore new business opportunities that expand the product offering and diversify sources of revenue for the exchange.
Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required to bridge cultural gaps effortlessly when engaging with mandarin speaking stakeholders and preparing documentation throughout Asia Pacific.
Prior experience in commodities OTC markets, inter-dealer broking in commodities, or futures broking industries is highly preferred.
