This is a unique opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI within a renowned international business, supporting the responsible and ethical development, implementation, and adoption of cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions. You will be part of a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team that acts as the bridge between technical experts and business stakeholders, ensuring that AI initiatives are aligned with strategic objectives while maximising value and maintaining regulatory compliance. The organisation offers a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly influence business transformation, foster innovation, and drive cultural change towards AI adoption across the firm. Flexible working opportunities, ongoing training, and exposure to industry-leading projects make this an exceptional platform for your professional growth.

  • Join a dedicated Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence focused on responsible and ethical AI adoption across a global financial services network, offering you the chance to work at the forefront of technology transformation.
  • Benefit from flexible working opportunities and continuous professional development in a supportive environment that values teamwork, knowledge sharing, and inclusive leadership.
  • Play a key role in bridging technical and non-technical teams, driving impactful AI initiatives that shape business processes and deliver tangible results across diverse business units.

What you'll do:

As an AI Strategy and Operationalisation Associate based in Singapore, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your ability to connect people, ideas, and technology will be essential. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with both technical experts—such as data scientists—and business leaders to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies. You will be instrumental in guiding projects from initial conception through to successful implementation within core business operations. By supporting project planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, compliance monitoring, and user enablement efforts, you will help ensure that each initiative delivers measurable value while upholding high standards of responsibility. Your contribution will extend beyond individual projects as you help nurture an inclusive culture that embraces innovation through training programmes and knowledge sharing. Success in this role means not only delivering high-quality outcomes but also fostering trust among colleagues as you champion the responsible use of artificial intelligence throughout the organisation.

  • Assist in defining and executing the organisation’s AI strategy by conducting research on industry trends, best practices, and use cases to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support the development of robust business cases by defining project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Contribute throughout the full solution lifecycle by participating in ideation sessions, gathering requirements, supporting development activities, coordinating testing phases, facilitating deployment, and ensuring successful operationalisation of AI products.
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, success metrics; track progress meticulously while proactively managing risks and issues to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams comprising data scientists, engineers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to drive forward AI initiatives effectively.
  • Act as a vital link between technical specialists and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and shared understanding throughout project lifecycles.
  • Ensure all AI solutions adhere to internal policies, governance frameworks, and external regulatory requirements by supporting compliance efforts at every stage.
  • Facilitate seamless integration of AI solutions into existing business processes by providing hands-on support during rollout phases.
  • Champion user adoption by working alongside training teams and change management professionals to design effective onboarding programmes for new technologies.
  • Promote an organisational culture of continuous learning around AI by supporting capability-building initiatives and staying abreast of emerging trends.

What you bring:

To excel as an AI Strategy and Operationalisation Associate within this global financial services leader’s Centre of Excellence, you will bring a blend of academic credentials—ideally at postgraduate level—and substantial hands-on experience from either consulting or internal strategy environments. Your background should reflect deep familiarity with artificial intelligence technologies as well as practical exposure to technology-enabled transformation initiatives within regulated sectors such as finance. You are comfortable navigating complex organisational structures where cross-team collaboration is essential for success. Your interpersonal skills allow you to build rapport quickly with colleagues from diverse backgrounds while your analytical abilities enable you to dissect problems methodically before recommending actionable solutions. Proficiency in preparing executive-level presentations using MS Office tools is crucial given your role as a bridge between technical experts and decision-makers. Above all else, your commitment to responsible innovation—combined with your passion for ongoing professional development—will set you apart as someone who can help shape both the strategic direction of AI adoption and its positive impact on people across the organisation.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent education level) demonstrating strong academic achievement relevant to technology or business disciplines.
  • At least five years’ experience gained either from consulting roles or within in-house business management or strategy teams where you have supported large-scale transformation projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence/machine learning technologies—including their practical applications within complex organisations—and familiarity with related concepts such as data management and governance.
  • Proven experience working on technology-driven transformation projects within the financial services sector or similar regulated industries.
  • Solid grasp of technical disciplines including analytics frameworks; ability to communicate effectively with both technical specialists (e.g., data scientists) and non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop detailed business plans; manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception through completion; handle ambiguity; adapt quickly when priorities shift; rally others around shared goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with a talent for presenting complex information clearly so it resonates with different audiences across all levels of seniority.
  • Strong analytical mindset paired with meticulous attention to detail; adept at identifying potential risks early on while proposing thoughtful solutions that balance innovation with compliance needs.
  • Passion for continuous learning about advances in data science/AI fields; enthusiasm for contributing positively to team culture through knowledge sharing.
