What you'll do:

As a Commercial Development Manager based in Singapore, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of Southeast Asian markets. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with various internal teams—Sales, Supply Chain, Finance—and external partners to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies. You will be responsible for reviewing forecasts, identifying risks early on, supporting budget processes with data-driven insights, tracking sales performance metrics meticulously, and ensuring compliance with promotional guidelines. Your analytical acumen will be crucial as you conduct campaign analyses and provide recommendations for improvement. By collecting market intelligence and developing actionable reports, you will help shape the company’s competitive edge. Additionally, you will play an integral role in managing trade spend investments efficiently while driving year-on-year improvements through ROI analysis. Your ability to foster teamwork across departments will be essential as you contribute to revenue management projects aimed at optimising profitability. The position offers significant scope for personal growth as you implement process enhancements that increase efficiency and transparency throughout the region.

  • Partner closely with Country Sales and Supply Chain teams to review weekly forecasts for assigned markets, ensuring alignment with operational deliverables.
  • Identify potential risks early on and proactively manage contingency planning to achieve key sales targets and operational objectives across multiple Southeast Asian markets.
  • Collaborate on forecast accuracy initiatives by analysing trends and supporting the rolling 14-month forecast process through robust local S&OP practices.
  • Support the budget cycle by contributing to the preparation of strategic business plans, annual budgets, and adjustments with insightful analysis of commercial plans.
  • Track, analyse, and report on all relevant sales performance metrics such as distribution, visibility, quality indicators, gross sales value, trade spend, and more for responsible markets.
  • Oversee execution plan monitoring by conducting campaign analyses, providing actionable insights, and recommending improvements to drive results.
  • Participate actively in monthly meetings and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring timely completion of follow-up actions for continuous improvement.
  • Collect comprehensive market and competitor information to develop detailed reports and propose targeted actions that enhance brand positioning or address specific performance challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with promotional guidelines while managing trade spend accruals, payments, and monthly reviews in close collaboration with Finance teams.
  • Drive revenue management initiatives by analysing pricing strategies, promotions, trade terms, and ROI frameworks to optimise profitability and volume growth.

You bring not only technical expertise but also strong interpersonal abilities that foster effective collaboration across diverse teams. Your capacity for critical thinking enables you to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights that inform commercial strategy. A proactive mindset ensures that you anticipate challenges before they arise while your resilience allows you to maintain focus during periods of change or high demand. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel—and familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI empower you to create impactful reports that support decision-making processes.

  • A university degree in Economics, Business Management, Finance or Marketing provides the foundational knowledge required for this role.
